Vice President, Intelligence
Mr. Wickey’s team combines RPX’s wealth of litigation, market, and assignment data—accessed directly and through RPX Insight—with information from other public sources to synthesize and publish strategic intelligence on patent litigation and the patent marketplace for RPX, its members, and the wider industry.
Mr. Wickey came to RPX after practicing law for over a decade in the Silicon Valley offices of Wilmer Hale, Covington & Burling, and Heller Ehrman, representing both plaintiffs and defendants, non-practicing entities and operating companies, in patent litigation disputes across a wide variety of technical areas, from extensive prefiling investigation through trial. Notable representations include of NPE Ronald A. Katz Technology Licensing in a computer telephony campaign against a large number of defendants, of Samsung in litigation brought by NPE Saxon Innovations LLC over several circuit logic patents, of Atmel in a case filed by Agere alleging infringement of various semiconductor fabrication and packaging patents, and of HP in the Nomadix litigation concerning patents generally related to network gateway functionality.
